Vicky Woolford lives in Auckland and is a self taught artist, with a background in textiles and design. Her work is abstract and she uses a layering technique to achieve texture and a depth of colour. Her stencilled letters and numbers convey a message - sometimes direct, sometimes hidden.
In 2004 Woolford was commissioned to paint several large works for Wither Hills Winery in Marlborough. Her works are now in the boardroom, reception foyer, tasting room and offices. Her paintings have received wide acclaim and her work is now in private and corporate collections throughout New Zealand.
Vicky has been represented in the Parnell Gallery since 2004 and has had her first solo exhibition in May 2006 Return to the previous page.
