Kirsty Nixon was born in Auckland in 1969. Her contribution to the genre of New Zealand landscape painting is fresh and distinctly modern. Her works are in private collections throughout New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, UK and USA. 'I have a real passion for the New Zealand landscape, with the dramatic rolling hills, unique coastliness and the special quality of intense light and freshness.
