Brian Strong studied at Canterbury University, gaining a Diploma in Fine Arts with Honours. His career has predominantly been as an art tutor, however for the past forty-five years painting has been a large part of Strong's life. Strong has been exhibiting since 1965 and has work in private and corporate collections throughout New Zealand and in many countries around the world.
