Michelle Farrell’s works are held in public, private and corporate collections in NZ and overseas.
A multi media artist, she has worked extensively in all scales of the bronze medium and has developed a body of photographic artworks and mixed media paintings.
Of deep interest to her are the unseen “energy” and spiritual connections which underly and steer existence, as well as the interconnected nature of all things.
Movement and energy feature strongly in her work, as well as harmonic connections with nature.
In 2016 her work was included in the international Imago Mundi exhibition “Kiwi Consciousness”” as part of the collection of Luciano Benneton, Italy.
Recently (2018) Michelle received a Merit Award for the Tamaki Esturary Art & Ecology Prize, and is a finalist in the Parkin Drawing Prize – both for her ink paintings.
