We are looking for a practical and friendly person to join our close knit team.  The gallery environment is engaging and fast paced, with every day bringing something new.

This role is a combination of hands-on handling of paintings, sculpture and works on paper as well as general administration.  Full training will be provided.

THE ROLE

  • Assisting with packaging and installation of artworks
  • Assisting with install and decommission of exhibitions
  • General administration duties (including creation of authenticity certificates, exhibition administration etc)

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Practical
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Friendly nature and excellent communication skills
  • Desire to learn

CONTRACT TYPE

This is a casual position (approximately 6 hours per week) predominantly over the weekend (Saturday or Sunday) plus occasional weekday work.
