Artist bio
Melissa Young works generally in bronze and produces delicate figurative works. Her bronze works have been described as a social commentary on life, celebrating the lives of women past and present. Melissa completed the Industrial Design course at Wellington Polytechnic in 1989 and began sculpting full-time in 1993. Currently she has work in private and corporate collections in New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, USA, England and France.
